Tuition

At Epicodus, we serve many people who, by birth or circumstance, don't have easy access to the skills they need to get great jobs. We strive to keep our tuition affordable to those who need us the most.

Besides our low tuition, we also facilitate loans, income share agreements, and scholarships.

Epicodus students aren't eligible for traditional student loans through the US Department of Education or government assistance programs. Tuition at Epicodus is not tax deductible.

Full Certificate Program

The tuition for our full-length program includes: 800 hours of in-class work, 80 hours of internship preparation, at least 150 hours of interning, job search preparation, and job search support for up to a year after graduating.

We have four payment options:

  • Standard Tuition: $14,800. Pay $100 to reserve your seat in class. Pay the remaining $14,700 before class starts.

  • Income Share Agreement: Pay $100 to reserve your seat in class. Let your advisor know you’d like to apply for the ISA. Before class starts, get approved with our financing partner, Mia Share. Pay nothing until you find your first job after graduation and then 9.8% of your salary for four years. See our financial aid information for details.

  • Loan/Payment Plan: Pay $100 to reserve your seat in class. Before class starts, get approved with one of our financing partners, Ascent and Climb. See our financial aid information for details.

  • Up-Front Discount: $9,800. Pay $9,800 within one week of being accepted to reserve your seat in class.

You can make payments by electronic check transfer (ACH) at no added cost. Payments made by credit or debit card will incur a non-refundable 3% processing fee, and payments made by paper check will incur a non-refundable $50 processing fee.

There are no other fees or required materials.

PART-TIME Intro

We offer a discounted rate for our part-time, evening Introduction to Programming course for only $100! As part of the full-length program, tuition for this portion of class would be $1,300, but we want to give all students the opportunity to explore web development. This is a great option for people who want to learn some coding, but don't plan to make a career change.

Refunds

Because we have limited space at Epicodus, we strongly encourage you to enroll only if you're sure you can attend. We hate turning away applicants, and it's even more painful if someone we accept then drops out. That said, if at any time, for any reason, you withdraw or are expelled from Epicodus your refund will be calculated as follows:

  • $100 of your tuition is not refundable unless you cancel your enrollment within 5 days of signing your enrollment agreement.

  • If you withdraw before the halfway point, we will refund your tuition in proportion to the remaining weeks in the program.

  • If you withdraw after the halfway point, you will not be eligible for a refund.

  • If you withdraw after attending multiple cohorts, your refund will be calculated based on the cohort you attended the longest.

Refunds will be issued within 30 days of withdrawal.
